I just finished this new palette knife boat painting titled “A Most Peaceful Day”. I honestly haven’t been this excited about a painting in a while. I just adore how it turned out! It reminds me of one of my favorite places, St. Simons Island, with the marsh background. And the color scheme of blues and greens give me this sense of tranquility. I also love the scale of this piece. When my husband first saw it on my easel he said, “Man, I feel like I could just sit down in it!”. It measures 3 ft wide so it would be perfect over a sofa, fireplace or desk.
