Since I’ve recently sold several of my hydrangea paintings, I realized that I needed to replenish my supply. “Charmed” is my first hydrangea for the year and I really love how this one turned out! I painted this piece using the impasto technique so it has a great texture to it. This painting is on the larger side so it will make a nice focal piece. The white vase combined with the blue and sage background really pop!
Title: Charmed
Medium: Acrylic
Size: 20 x 24

What do you think?
Beautiful blue flowers in a white vase, it really looks very “wintry” very appropriate for January.
Beautiful – can’t wait for these to be flowering in my garden!
