I’ve been continuing with my abstract paintings and have had so much fun doing them! I mentioned in my previous post that I was basing these paintings off of smaller sections of sunset abstracts that I attempted a few weeks ago. Well, here are two new pieces from that exercise that took an unexpected turn – and I love the direction they took! I changed up the color scheme to the blue, greens, grays and yellows that you see here. These really remind me of summer with the sunset reflecting off the ripples of the water which led me to the name “A Flicker in the Water”. I did these two as companion pieces so they look really nice paired side-by-side. You can check them out in my Etsy Shop. Both acrylic paintings measure 16×20 and are on gallery wrapped canvas with the sides painted black. Both paintings are $165.00 individually or $300.00 if bought as a pair.
