Last year I painted a small, 12×6 acrylic palette knife piece titled “Last Rays of the Day”. I received a great response on it; I think it was easy to imagine yourself sitting in one of the chairs with your feet in the sand…and maybe a margarita in hand 🙂 With this in mind, I decided to do a larger version of it that could be hung in someone’s summer beach retreat or give a nice blast of warmth and color to a favorite room. I don’t like to completely repeat myself so I changed up the sunset sky in this version…And of course I put a twist on the name too: “The Day’s Last Rays”.
