I can’t believe how fast the past year has flown by! It seems like it was just a few weeks ago that I was making my New Year’s resolutions. Let’s see….how did I do? Well, I participated in 3 art fairs this past year like I wanted. Well, really 2 and a last minute wine festival. The first proved to be a learning experience; the second went MUCH better after making a few change ups and the third – well, I didn’t make any sales but I met the owner of a local store and now have a few of my pieces in her shop…so not a total bust. But sadly, I have to admit that my studio still has the same pink and green stripe walls. Unfortunately I had to put my redecorating on the back burner this year to take care of a few other higher priority items. But 2015 is THE YEAR those pink and green stripes disappear!
One of my favorite things about the end of the year is taking a look back at my paintings that I created over the past 12 months. It’s fun to compare my work to prior years and to think about what I want to create for the coming year. Here is a short video that I put together of my favorite paintings from 2014. Take a look and let me know what you think! A few of these are still available so let me know if you see something you like.
Thanks for helping to make 2014 the best year yet. I wish you all a very happy and safe New Year’s. 2015…here we come!!
