“Waiting” is another painting inspired by my recent purchase of several vintage frames. The frame is wooden that has a mostly teal color with a little distressed cream coming through. I also loved the delicate craving around the middle. And of course her bright red dress contrasts nicely with the frame color. I’ve posted a few detail shots below.

Also, I love how the lady in the painting seems delicate yet distressed at the same time. What is she waiting on exactly that has her saying a little prayer? Well, I’ve decided to leave that up to the viewer of the piece. Maybe you can see a little bit of yourself in her?
