It’s hard to believe that it’s been 11 years since I use to walk past the Arch on a daily basis, (but never underneath it!), lugging my books across the University of Georgia’s picturesque North Campus and praying that I make it to class on time. Over the years, as my college memories grow a bit fuzzier, but ever sweeter, seeing images of the Arch instantly take me back to a time when I was on the very edge of adulthood. I can clearly see that the four years I spent walking past the Arch was significant in shaping who I am today by allowing me to forge lifelong friendships, preparing me for my career, and ultimately teaching me to chase after my dreams. I truly hope that the Arch holds a significant place in the hearts of the UGA Class of 2013. They are some lucky Dawgs!
