My Grandmother Myrtle is one of my favorite people in the world. So when she asks for a painting of a peacock, then of course I paint her a peacock. However, I’ve decided to save this as a Christmas present as I thought it would make the perfect gift for the woman who already has everything. And, I thought it would be more personal than the standard gift card. This is sure to put me on the fast track to “Best Gift” this year!
Title: Myrtle’s Peacock
Medium: Acrylic on canvas
Size: 11×14
Price: Not for sale
Hi Katie. I think it’s gorgeous and your brushstrokes are really interesting, especially in the background and on the feathers of the tail. And the spotty bit. Your grandmother will be thrilled. Thanks for the follow and when I came to your site I smiled because in some ways we have very similar styles. I LOVE the background colour you chose for your bulldog, along with the dog himself of course. Nice work. I’m glad to connect with another painter and look forward to following your work.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog as well as your nice feedback. Yes, I can’t wait to see my grandmother’s face on Christmas Eve! I’m glad to discover your work and to connect with a fellow artist. I think we seem to have similar tastes and styles. I look forward to following your future projects as well.
