My mother has a Sheltie named Jack that is her absolute pride and joy…and I’m pretty sure she loves him more than me and my sister. So for her birthday gift this year, I thought what could be more perfect than a portrait of her “Jackie Boy”. I wasn’t able to give this gift to her in person so I made her call me on Face Time so I could watch her reaction while she opened it. Success! She was so surprised by the gift and she still talks about how much she loves it months later. Now, the only challenge is figuring out a way to top this gift for next year!
